Original Morgan Heritage tickets still good
If you have Morgan Heritage tickets then hold on to them because Promoters for the band say they are ready to come back to the Jewel after their concert was postponed due to the H1N1 scare. There has been some confusion about the validity of tickets purchased when the band was first scheduled to take the stage. It was announced that those would have been traded in for new tickets to the upcoming show, but after much consideration that decision has been reversed. Promoter Ian Mariano came to our studios to explain their new position on the tickets and spoke about what you can expect from the reggae band.
Ian Mariano, Promoter, Morgan Heritage Concert
“The concert is set for the eighteenth of July, which is just a few days away. As far as the tickets are concerned, we urged people from the get go to hold on to their tickets. We realize that it was creating a little bit of confusion so what we have decided as the committee was to allow the same procedure. So once you got the red tickets that you probably won on the radio or got it as a complementary pass, those are still valid. And the ones that we got before that we were selling for forty dollars, it’s still valid. So you can go to the different outlets and collect your regular fifty dollar ticket or if want, pay at the door.”

“So all the tickets that had been gotten before the concert was postponed still good?”
Ian Mariano
“Still good. Everything still good, the show still good, Morgan dehn still feel good. Everybody is just hype and excited and can’t wait until the eighteenth.”
Delahnie Bain
“Alright, and just to remind the fans and di ones weh noh get dehn ticket yet, weh pah dehn could get it?”
Ian Mariano
“The tickets are at the usual spots; yoh have LA Fashions, Tambran Music Outlet, yoh have Stone Jam, yoh have Record Shack. So these are different places that you can go and get your tickets. Make sure that you do so because it’s only fifty dollars and it’s gonna be sixty at the door so it helps out if you could go out and get it before.”
The concert was originally scheduled for April thirtieth.
