Jermaine Locke is Stabbed in Belize City

A near-fatal stabbing incident over the weekend in the Lake Independence area has left one man in critical condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.  Twenty-two-year-old Jermaine Locke was assaulted while conversing with two other men on Tibruce Street.  He was stabbed once in the upper left chest and was reportedly rushed to the hospital with the knife stuck inside of him.  According to the maintenance worker, he was approached by a dark complexion male who inflicted the single stab wound.  Despite a quick response, police have been unable to make an arrest.  An investigation into the matter remains ongoing.
