Ignatius Williams Arraigned for Attempted Murder of Jerome Locke
Police believe they have cracked the case of a stabbing that occurred over the weekend in the Saint Martin’s area of Belize City which left a man in a critical, but stable condition. The victim is Jerome Locke, who was stabbed with a dagger once to the upper part of his chest on October twenty-third. And the suspect is Ignatius Williams, a resident and labourer of Lavender Street, Belize City. Williams appeared before Senior Magistrate, Sharon Frazer and was arraigned for Attempted Murder, Use of Deadly Means of Harm and Grievous Harm. Williams was denied bail and remanded to the Belize Central Prison until December sixteenth, 2015. His family says he is recovering in the hospital.
