Body Found Near Farm in Valley of Peace
Meanwhile, Roaring Creek police are investigating a case of the sudden death of a Salvadoran living in the Valley of Peace. On Saturday afternoon, the body of fifty-eight year old Luis Antonio Gonzalez Herrera was found fifteen miles from the Valley of Peace Community. He was last seen on Saturday morning when he left home around six-thirty en route to his farm…but he never made it there. Inspector Octaviano Victorin of Roaring Creek Police explains.

“Sometime around three-fifteen p.m., police received information of a body that was found about fifteen miles away from Valley of Peace Village. As a result, police visited the area where the motionless body of a male person was seen lying face down. The scene was processed and it was found that there was no injury on the person. The body was transported to the Belmopan hospital where it was pronounced dead by the doctor. The body now awaits a post mortem. The investigation reveals that the body was identified as Luis Antonio Gonzalez Herrera, fifty-eight years; he is a Salvadoran and used to reside in Valley of Piece. His wife, Maria Lima reported to the police that this person had been suffering from stomach problem but up to present, we need to establish the cause of death.”

“As I mentioned, there is no physical abuse seen on the body so we need to be certain what is the cause of death.”
A post mortem will be conducted on the body of Gonzalez on Tuesday.
