…Sister Says He Didn’t Deserve to Die Like an Animal
Despite the family admitting that their loved one was a drug addict, they maintain that he did not have to meet such a violent end. While they all want justice, they are not optimistic that fairness will be the outcome of the matter.
Voice of: Andy Avilez’s Sister
“Police they told me that a Chinese man and him were in a fight and that’s how we got that whop on his forehead. That’s all I know. But I think, I think, my brother is a drug addict. I am going to say that but he is not a violent person. He never was a violent person. He never was a violent person. So I think, noh because da Chineyman have money and a hotel and thing he needs to get away with that. He needs to be served justice for this and that’s what I want for my brother. I mean, it’s a shame, he’s a human being. He has a mother, sister, brother, nieces and nephews who love him a lot. He didn’t have to be on the street. He has a little house that he lived in, you know. So it really, really, really hurts. To be honest, I think it’s going to go like that. They killed my son seven years ago and it went like a blackbird, like a dog. Nothing came out of it, but I’m praying this doesn’t go the same way. That’s what I am praying for, that he has justice. That’s all I can say mein.”
It is not known if the Chinese hotelier will be charged for the death of the fifty-one year old man.
