Will Kevin ‘Breast’ Peters’ Murder be Avenged by Taylor’s Alley Associates?
But will there be retaliation for the coldblooded murder of Peters? Regional Rural Commander Senior Superintendent Edward Broaster told the media today that there have been several threats made against members of the Taylor’s Alley Gang, with whom Peters was known to have associated himself. So, will there be reprisals for his murder? Commander for Eastern Division South in whose jurisdiction Taylor’s Alley falls says they are working along with the rural police unit to apprehend several persons from the city.
Sr. Supt. Chester Williams, Regional Commander, Eastern Division South
“What we are trying to do through intervention is we are trying to neutralize the problem between these people and hopefully, there will be no intensification of the situation. And again, with the murder that took place in Ladyville last night; that might have some spill over into south side Belize City between the Taylor’s Alley crowd and the other part…the persons from where the other person come from. So again we have to monitor the situation between those two groups to see what they may want to do as a result to retaliate for what took place in Ladyville last night. We must to remain vigilant.”

“We know that principals ofTaylor’s Alley were accused of orchestrating the First Caribbean robbery. Might the Big Tom incident be what is called the after claps of that?”
Sr. Supt. Chester Williams
“No not to our knowledge. I will not say what the reason for the detention between the groups is because as I have always said, what we discuss in medication or intervention remains confidential. I would never disclose the content of those sessions because one of the reasons people allow us to facilitate mediation between them is because we maintain confidentiality in terms of the information we got from them. So I will not say the content of those sessions, but I can clearly tell you that there is no relation between the bank robbery and what took place last week, any at all.”

“Can you say if you are working with the Rural Formation because we were told this morning that there were two threats made which they are handling in relation to the murder in Ladyville last night?”
Sr. Supt. Chester Williams
“Yes we have received certain information from the rural area and our officers here on South Side Belize City were out trying to locate some persons who are wanted by the rural area and that mission continues and once we apprehend them, they will be handed over to the rural area for them to be dealt with.”
