Gardenia woman kills herself, unborn child
It is not the kind of story we usually report on this newscast, but the death of a woman from Gardenia village requires special mention. On Wednesday morning around eight thirty, in the quiet village of Gardenia in the Belize District, twenty eight year old Lavern Williams ended her life by hanging herself at her home. But more than committing suicide, Williams also took the life of her unborn child as she was eight months pregnant.
