Bail is Granted for 2 Women Connected to Home Invasion
Jeffery Buller was arraigned this afternoon for abetment to commit aggravated burglary and was denied bail. Mark Pitts and Paul Jex were arraigned for handling stolen good and both pleaded not guilty. The duo claimed that the police placed and a bag over their heads to coerce them to talk. They were all remanded until December thirteenth to apply for bail. But in the courtroom of Justice Herbert Lord this morning bail hearings were heard for three of nine persons arraigned on Monday in connection to the robbery. Twenty-three year old Crystal Augustine, nineteen year old Ashanti Roches and Randolph Coleman appeared before Justice Lord.
The first to be heard was Roaches and since there were no objections to bail, Judge Lord granted her bail in the sum of three thousand dollars, with conditions to report to the Queen Street Police Station, once a week and keep out of trouble. Judge Lord also granted bail to Augustine, imposing similar conditions. The office of the D.P.P. also did not have objections to bail in the case of Coleman for whom bail was set at ten thousand dollars plus a list of conditions. On Monday of this week, Tyrone Meighan along with Brandon Baptist, Sheldon Grinage, Jerson Grinage, and John Grinage and Randolph Coleman were jointly charged in connection with the aggravated burglary.
