Belize City Man Remanded For Shooting

Tonight, twenty-eight-year-old Jeffery McDougal is behind bars after being accused of a shooting incident which occurred on Sunday, December thirteenth, 2015 in which Brandon Allen was shot and injured in his buttocks and had to be hospitalized. The shooting incident is said to have occurred at the corner of East Canal Street and Water Lane, Belize City.  In court, McDougal was unrepresented and no plea was taken from him when he appeared before the Senior Magistrate, Sharon Fraser.   Due to the nature of the offenses, bail was denied and he was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until February fifteenth, 2016.
