Watch out for Cabinet purge
Christmas eve is a funny time to announce a purge of the nation’s cabinet, and don’t worry you will not hear one announced tonight. But something is definitely afoot in Belmopan. No one is speaking on the record and several alleged targets are denying knowledge but it appears that Prime Minister Said Musa is finally making his move to ice some of those G-seven cabinet members who he feels were a little bit too enthusiastic in their rebellion. Three or four ministers have apparently received pink slips…but in this game it’s never over ’til its over and late reports indicate that a Christmas counterattack has already been launched.
