Benny’s gives away ten grand

The Christmas season is always one of paradoxes. Never do people cry louder about hard times, but at the same time spend obscene amounts of money. Well today the best adjective to describe the cash flowing at Benny’s was…splenditious. It was the culmination of the four month long Benny’s Home Centre cash giveaway promotion, with one lucky winner walking away with ten thousand tax free dollars. That person is contractor Roberto Hoare, a long time customer of Benny’s, who unfortunately could not be present to collect his prize in person. Manager of Benny’s Sean Feinstein says it was a very successful promotion.

?It was our grand finale for Benny?s Cash Giveaway. We started back in September with a cash raffle with a twist where we had every single customer of Benny?s no matter what the size of their purchase, was able to get at least one raffle ticket. So we started our raffle ticket at one penny. Whatever you purchased at Benny?s you were able to get a raffle ticket and then of course the more you purchased they more tickets you were able to get.?

?Every week we had a drawing from those weekly customers and they won five hundred dollars. Those weekly customers went on to the semi finals where every four weeks they were put back into the pool of those four and they were able to win one thousand dollars. Every month we had a monthly winner from those monthly winners and the four monthly winners went on to today?s final to win ten thousand dollars.?

?Well what it does is show our appreciation to our customers. It shows that we are in the spirit of the season, that we want to give back something to our customers. Of course it does a lot on the other side for Benny?s. A promotion like this encourages a lot of customers to come in, encourages a lot of customers to come in and buy to participate in this promotion.?

Feinstein says one final draw in Benny’s wild cash giveaway will be held on Christmas Eve at which time another lucky customer will win one thousand dollars.
