Victim turns tables on robber

Police have arrested one of two men involved in an armed robbery early this morning in Belize City. Just after midnight twenty-two year old Mark Orozco was entering his yard on Zericote Street when two men, one with a handgun, tried to jack him. He reports that one attacker grabbed his neck while the other removed his keys and attempted to enter his house. Orozco struggled with his assailants and his screams apparently alerted a nearby police patrol. According to Orozco, that’s when the gunman took off on the victim’s bicycle with his bag containing a CD, shirt and bottle of cologne. The unarmed robber didn’t fear so well, however, as Orozco managed to hold him until the cops arrived. Thirty-two year old Frederick Fuller of Conch Shell Bay, was this afternoon charged with robbery.
