Santino helps family of slain officer
The police top brass, it will be recalled, were present at the Caribbean Shores police station to witness the handing over of a donation to the family of Uwin Armstrong, the policeman who was gunned down on November twenty-sixth as he walked to work. Businessman Santino Castillo donated toys to the children of the fallen officer and also made a presentation of five hundred dollars and other items to his widow, Eglah Arnold. The police band, which played Christmas music during the brief handing over ceremonies, then made its way over to the sister Cecilia Home for the elderly to entertain the residents. Late this evening Assistant Commissioner Maureen Leslie and other officers from Eastern Division served supper to the men and women at the facility.
