Alleged Drunken Driver Has License Revoked
Today in court, a B.T.L. employee, who pleaded guilty to crashing his SUV, had his license revoked for one year. The traffic accident happened within city limits on Sunday, December twenty-seventh, 2015 and fortunately, there were no fatalities. Twenty-three year old Rasheed Pollard was arraigned this morning before Magistrate Deborah Rogers and slapped with two traffic offenses for driving without due care and attention and failure to provide a urine specimen. Pollard’s Dodge vehicle flipped and ended with the wheels up in the air when he collided into another vehicle in the area of West Collet Canal. Police suspect he failed to provide a specimen because he was intoxicated. Aside from his license revocation, he was fined two hundred and fifty dollars which he has to pay by the end of January 2016.
