Meanwhile, Belmopan police are tonight investigating another incident on the Hummingbird Highway. According to the authorities, around seven on Saturday night, employees of Sibun River Farm, located near the Sibun Bridge, were inside their house preparing dinner when there was a knock on the door. Farm worker Rudolfo Mendoza opened it only to find three armed and masked men on the other side. The trio demanded money and jewelry and after the frightened farmers complied, disappeared into the night. Officers from the capital say they have yet to detain anyone in connection with this incident and are asking anyone that may have information to please contact the nearest police station or call 922.
