Man loses his life in mill accident
A man on a routine day on the job lost his life after he plunged some fifty feet to the ground. Thirty-four year old contractor, Clif Peyrefitte, was dismantling a windmill at a farm in the Sandhill Village when tragedy struck Thursday afternoon. According to Peyrefitte’s wife, Carla, who was too aggrieved to comment on camera, Clif was on top of a scaffold and had already removed all the blades from the mill but as he was about to remove the motor, he lost balance and fell. Carla says he died on the spot despite efforts by co-workers to assist him.
