5 wounded in city drive-by shooting

Story Picture
The only good thing that can be said about this next story is that it could have been worse…much worse. News 5’s Patrick Jones reports on a drive-by shooting in Belize City with enough wounded victims to fill an emergency ward.

The bullet marks on the front window of this shop on Kraal Road tell only part of the story of a neighbourhood that came under a serious assault over the weekend. On Saturday evening five people, including a nine year old child were injured by flying bullets as a car drove up and someone started shooting. Delroy Barrow was shot several times as he walked on Kraal Road.
