Investigations Continue into the Murder of Executive Producer Anne Swaney

Investigations also continue in another murder. Last Friday morning, the body of Anne Swaney, an executive producer with ABC Chicago, was found floating in the river at Succotz, Cayo. She had been staying at a resort in the area when she was strangled and her body found in the river. Police have been questioning persons of interest, but no one has been charged with Swaney’s murder. The homicide has been reported internationally, tainting Belize’s tourism industry. On Tuesday, U.S. federal agents arrived in the country to assist in the investigations and up to news time, no one has been charged for the murder. Here’s a report from ABC Chicago.
