Police seek hit & run driver
Authorities are looking for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit and run just east of Belmopan. Sometime after midnight this morning police discovered the dead body of a Hispanic man lying in the middle of the Western Highway between miles forty-five and forty-six. A badly damaged bicycle was found nearby. Thus far, the victim has been identified only as Marcus and it is believed that he was struck from behind while riding in the direction of Belize City. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the nearest police post or 922.
