An Orange Walk man has been arrested and charged with rape following a report over the weekend. Police say twenty-nine year old Ismael Jimenez of Palm Lane in Trial Farm Village is the man who attacked a twenty-four year old woman as she was walking down the San Lorenzo road. Reports are that when the victim refused a ride on Jimenez’s bike, he punched her in the face and forced her to engage in sex. Nearby residents heard the woman’s screams and detained Jimenez until the cops showed up. Jimenez has been charged with rape and wounding.
