Paralyzed accident victim succumbs to injuries
And in related news, we regret to report that eighteen-year-old Ellion Augustine, the subject of a story we ran on Friday, has died of his injuries. Augustine had been left paralyzed from the neck down following a traffic accident on the night of October thirtieth. He was on a respirator being prepared for evacuation to Merida for further diagnosis when on Saturday he apparently went into cardiac arrest. Funeral arrangements have not yet been finalized.
