Dan Man releases CD

If you’re looking for some fresh tunes to add to your music library, you might want to pick up the latest local CD to hit the streets. “Outa Trenchtown” is the creative work of the artist known as Dan Man. This evening he stopped by our studios to let News 5’s Patrick Jones sample his works.

Dan Man, Artist

?The ladies will like it very much because most of the songs I dedicated to them. But it has some reality in it too, so it?s more like a mixture, an all in one, like a salad thing, you know. It?s a combination; a little bit of soca, dancehall mostly and some combination in hip hop style and stuff. It also features collaboration with other artists, you know.?

?Most of the songs refer in some way with the ladies, right. The working class would like it because it begins with the track ?Boss?.?

?I could guarantee you from the young to the middle class would like this. There is a little touch for everybody.?

Patrick Jones

?How long did it take you to put this project together??

Dan Man

?Ok roughly one year. I worked with Kareem Wallace, a.k.a Frisco Kid, originate the Studio Enigma on East Canal and we had to compromise because he actually does another job. We recorded only in the mornings. It took us roughly one year.?

Patrick Jones

?Which of these songs would you most like people to listen to??

Dan Man

?Well, I can?t just come out and say this one because a lot of people meet me and give me their different opinions and views. But I will say there are two tracks, ?People Fava People? and Ghi Ghi Whap.?

The CD which contains twelve tracks sells for twenty dollars each and is available from Dan Man who will hit the Alberts to promote his latest release beginning on Saturday morning.
