Toledo Resident Knocked Down and Killed in San Antonio

On Saturday night, there was another fatal road traffic accident, this one on the Jalacte Road near the San Antonio waterfalls. At around ten-fifty that night Police were called to the San Antonio Polyclinic where they found San Jose resident Virginio Sub suffering from multiple injuries to his head and body. Sub was unconscious and was rushed to the P.G. Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police learned that Sub had been the victim of an accident, and visited the scene where they saw an extensively damaged Honda motorcycle. They then proceeded to an area known as the Dump where they met Valentina Emmanuel Sho who told them that she was the driver of the green Ford Escape that hit Sub. Sho explained that she was with her husband and two children travelling toward Punta Gorda Town when they collided into the cycle. She claimed that she left the scene after the victim was taken to the Polyclinic, but just so she could drive to an area which had phone service to enable her to call the Police. Sho has been served with a Notice of Intended Prosecution, while the body of Sub awaits a post-mortem examination at the Punta Gorda Hospital.
