Amador Pott

An allegation of sexual assault has been lodged against a Fisheries Officer by a woman who claims he sexually assaulted her at the corner of Regent Street West and the Swing Bridge in Belize City. The thirty-one year old female, a food vendor, claims that after exposing his private to her, he asked for sexual favors. Tonight, the Fisheries Officer, identified as Amador Pott, is behind bars after he was unable to meet bail for a charge of sexual assault upon the woman. Pott appeared before Chief Magistrate Anne Marie Smith and is due back in court on May sixth 2016. The incident happened on March twenty-third, 2016, sometime between two and three o’clock in the morning when the alleged victim was selling tacos and hot dogs. Pott appeared intoxicated and became angry when she refused to sell him food.
