UK scholarships available to Bzean students

It’s one of those words most students like to hear: scholarship. The Michael Ashcroft Foundation is once again accepting applications for Belizeans to study towards a Business degree in the United Kingdom. From the applicant pool, nine students will be selected to attend a three to four year programme at the Anglia Polytechnic University in Chelmsford England in September 2005. The scholarships are open to residents between the ages of seventeen to twenty-one and who are currently in school or employed in Belize. Forms can be obtained from principals or deans of schools across the country or from Michael Coye at the Belize Bank in Belize City. Candidates must complete and submit applications by November eighteenth 2004. Successful students will receive notice by January thirty-first 2005.
