Police seek 2 in separate forgery cases
Police are tonight looking for two men involved in separate incidents of forgery. According to authorities, for an unspecified period of time, checks in the name of Allan Lucario, valued at more than three thousand dollars were cashed through the Bank of Nova Scotia. It wasn’t until last Saturday that the unlucky customer, area representative Michael Finnegan realized he was being robbed and the matter was reported to the police. Meanwhile, cops are also on the lookout for a man who bought fuel with bad checks. According to managers at the Texaco Gas Station on Cemetery Road, between September eighteenth and twenty-ninth, a man showed up with three checks in the name of Ian Holland. He got forty dollars worth of gasoline, but since the checks were valued at three hundred dollars each, he got the change in cash. If you are able to assist the police with either of these cases, please contact the nearest police station or call 9-2-2.
