Patrick Andrews is Ready for Another PUP Leadership Convention
Now the P.U.P. held a convention last November in which John Briceño and his team were decisively elected. But on social media this week, there is one standard bearer that is already anticipating the holding of a national convention for leadership. Briceño says the gates are open for anyone who wants to mount a challenge.
John Briceño, Leader, People’s United Party
“But of course the constitution states that there must be a national convention every two years and I have absolutely no problem with anybody that wants to be the leader of the party. I think it is an honor; it is a privilege, to be the leader of the great party the PUP. So be it anybody, somebody from Crique Sarco, the Toledo district or somebody from San Felipe in the Orange walk district or anywhere should have the aspiration to want to lead this great party. And if former Senator, Patrick Andrews would like to lead the part it is his right, he just needs to put in his name at the appropriate time and then try and get the support, anybody could have that opportunity to want to lead this party. As I said it is an honor and a privilege to be the leader of the People’s United Party.”
