Jack Charles Takes Employees to Court for Stealing Triple-A Batteries
Businessman Jitendra Chawla was in the headlines and in court earlier this year over rice importation. Today, Chawla took three employees to court for stealing from his store a pack of Triple AAA batteries, valued at two hundred and eight dollars. The three employees are David Fuller, Jose Moralez, and deft mute, Oliver Flowers. Moralez pleaded guilty to the charge and the other two employees, Flowers and Fuller pleaded not guilty. The charge was then withdrawn against Fuller and Flowers who were told they were free to go. Flowers was assisted in his arraignment with a translator. Moralez was fined and three hundred dollars and an additional two hundred and eight dollars to Chawla to be paid by July twenty-ninth, 2016.
