A Home Invasion in Camalote Nets Thieves Firearm and Jewelry
There was a home invasion in the Camalote Village, Cayo District, where burglars got away with a gun and jewelry valued at over five thousand dollars. On Tuesday, Roaring Creek Police visited the residence of thirty-three-year-old Gladwin Penner, who reported that while he was at his ranch on the Hummingbird Highway, his housekeeper called say that she was held up at gun point inside the house in the village. After making checks inside the house, Penner discovered that the burglars got away with his black Ruger S.R. nine millimeter pistol valued at two thousand five hundred dollars. Also stolen was an assortment of jewelry valued at three thousand dollars from inside his room. Luckily, the employee was not injured during the ordeal. Police investigations continue.
