Wanted Fugitive Shane Bennett is Recaptured in Placencia

The Special Branch Unit in the south has taken an alleged criminal off the streets. Shane Bennett escaped from the Independence police and did not go too far. He has now been recaptured in Placencia and police believe he was being assisted by friends. Considered dangerous, Bennett escaped from police hands in early January.  While on the lam, he became a suspect in the murder of Glen Logan, a Mango Creek businessman in March.  Logan was killed at his house by two men who held him and his wife at gunpoint. While the woman was taken to her bedroom to hand over valuables, including cash, Logan was shot to his chest. Bennett was able to evade the police until now.
