Carnival pleases crowds, revelers
It may not have been the biggest carnival road march…and the rain did put a damper on things at the end…but carnival 2004 was still a hit with the participants and thousands of spectators. Here are some highlights of Saturday’s happenings, as broadcast right here on Channel 5.

Southside Masqueraders took top senior band honours, with Erotic coming in second. In the junior category first place went to Mahogany Masqueraders followed by Jump Street Posse and Black Pearl.
