Man Stabbed to the Chest in Lord’s Bank

But there was also a stabbing in the Lord’s Bank community also in Ladyville, where thirty-year-old Brandon Stevens was stabbed to the chest following an altercation at a bar in the community. Officer Commanding Ladyville Police, Assistant Superintendent Juanito Cocom says that the suspect was detained shortly after by patrol in the area. It is also believed that both men were intoxicated when the argument broke.

“Ladyville police were called to a stabbing incident outside Ruba’s Bar on Lord’s Bank Ladyville. Upon the arrival of police, the victim who was identified as Brandon Stevens, a thirty year old laborer of #2 Lord’s Bank, had already been transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Investigation reveals that Stevens was socializing at Ruba’s Bar when he got into an altercation with one Steven Young, a twenty-five year old unemployed of Allan Pitts Crescent. During the altercation, Young stabbed Stevens to the chest with an ice pick and fled the scene onboard a white Ford Ranger pickup which was later intercepted by another team from t e Ladyville police station. The scene was visited and processed, Steven Young was detained and the suspected weapon was recovered. He was subsequently arrested and charged with the crime of Attempted Murder, Use of Deadly Means of harm and Dangerous Harm. Brandon Stevens remains at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in a stable condition. The injuries amount to a puncture of his lung.”

 

According to Police, Stevens has attempted to withdraw the charges against Young, but that matter will be dealt with in the courts.
