Two detained in City wounding
Police have detained two people and continue to investigate a weekend shooting incident that has left a teenager wounded. Around eight thirty on Saturday night, police say a green Ford Explorer pulled up on a trio of young men standing in front of a panades shop on Yarborough road. A man, described only as slim built and wearing a mask, exited the passenger side and let loose with a barrage of bullets. When the gun fell silent, seventeen-year-old Orwin Michael was the only victim, having sustained a wound to his left arm. Police say they have recovered nine spent shells of nine-millimeter caliber from the scene. Based on information given to them by Michael, police have impounded a vehicle matching the description and are questioning the owner and one other person, who have so far denied any involvement in the crime.
