Miss Mexico is Reina De La Costa Maya
It took us a while to get hold of the video tape, but last Thursday night thousands of spectators gathered in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, for the selection of La Reina de la Costa Maya. Here?s how it went after the judges had handed in their ballots.

The second runner up…Miss Belize. Congratulations. Give her a round of applause. The first runner up is…Miss Costa Rica. Give a round of applause to Miss Costa Rica. And Miss Costa Maya for 2004 is…Miss Mexico.?
The winner, Marisol Rojas, won black coral jewellery, as well as a number of vacation packages on Ambergris Caye. Festival organisers say this year?s event was among the most successful ever.
