Biscayne man charged w/ attempted murder
A man from the Belize district has been arrested and charged for attempted murder in connection with an armed robbery in Orange Walk town on Thursday night. Police say it was twenty-three year old Roger Bradley of Biscayne Village, who approached security guard Marcelino Tun Sr. while on duty at the Shell 1-Stop service station and demanded money. But before the security guard could comply or deny, the gunman fired a single shot, which hit Tun in his left shoulder. The shooter then grabbed a bag containing three hundred dollars and ran away. The victim was rushed to the Northern Regional Hospital where he was treated and has since been released. Quick police work and eyewitness cooperation led to detention of Bradley. He has been charged with attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm, wounding, robbery and threat of death.
