Toledo Man Chopped to Death

There was a third murder over the weekend – this one in the remotest area of the Toledo District, in San Benito Poite. Sometime Saturday night Francisco Ack, a resident of that community was brutally chopped to death and left in some bushes near the school in the community. According to officer commanding the Punta Gorda formation, Assistant Superintendent Clement Cacho, Police are seeking one person who they believe can assist them with the investigation.

“At approximately 11:07 p.m. on Saturday, the eighteenth June, 2015 information was received of a male person apparently dead at San Benito Poite Village which is approximately forty two point five miles from Punta Gorda town. As a result of the information Punta Gorda Police arrived at the village sometime around 2:00 a.m. and observed the lifeless body of a male person opposite the school in some low bushes. He was later identified as one Francisco Ack, thirty-six years, nineteenth March 1980, suffering from multiple chop wounds. Initial investigations revealed that at around 9:30 p.m. on the eighteenth June 2016 the deceased, Francisco Ack was heading home from church when he was attacked by two male persons who inflicted these chop wounds. The assailants were not positively identified. However we have one person of interest that we are seeking. No one is detained at this point and time. We have a motive for the murder however I will not leak that to the press or to the general public.”
