Suspect detained in Cayo murder
Police have detained a suspect they believe murdered a man Tuesday night in San Ignacio. The deceased, twenty-two year old labourer Hershel Brown, was found around seven p.m. lying in the Savannah area of the town with a deep cut to his throat. Police were called and Brown was taken to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment. Authorities declined to give details about the detained suspect, who they believe will be charged with murder on Thursday.
