Cops close to arrest in Belama killing

There is better news to report in another murder case in Belize City. The police press office tells News 5 that a break in the investigation into the murder of Steve “Monster” Thompson is imminent. The thirty-three year old man was found dead outside the house he was taking care of in the Belama Phase Three area of Belize City a week ago. We understand that police are currently questioning a male suspect in connection with the murder, because, according to reliable reports, that person was found wearing Thompson?s shoes. Investigators have also received information that has led to the recovery of some items believed to have been stolen from the house Thompson was looking after. Thompson was shot once in the back of the head and no one has as yet been charged for the crime.
