Honduran dead in Orange Walk chopping
The weekend’s second homicide occurred on Sunday, this time in Orange Walk Town. Nineteen-year-old Honduran Nulvis Gomez was pronounced dead on arrival at Northern Regional, the result of a massive cut wound to the side of the neck. According to police, around nine-forty-five p.m. Gomez was involved in an argument over money with one Daniel Sale, when Sale hauled out a machete and delivered a single chop to Gomez’s neck. Sale has not yet been apprehended by police and they are asking anyone who knows his whereabouts to call the nearest police station or 922.
