Body recovered from New River in Orange Walk
Yet another body was recovered from a river; the third one this week. The first two were retrieved from the Mopan River in the Benque Viejo area while body number three surfaced in New River in the Orange Walk District. Police reports are that on Tuesday an elderly man was seen floating in the river; he has been identified as seventy-five year old Gumercindo Palmero of Orange Walk Town. There were no injuries on the body and police are not suspecting foul play.
