Accused murderer turns himself in
He has been on the run for eight days, but tonight thirty-two year old Jose Coyoc, wanted for murder, is in police custody, thanks to his own father who turned him in to authorities. Police would not discuss the circumstances involving the surrender or where Coyoc was hiding out, only that he will be charged with the murder of forty-three year old Apolonio Tun. On May twenty-sixth, Coyoc allegedly broke into the Tun home in Xaibe Village and attempted to rape his daughter. When the young girl’s father came to her aid, he was fatally shot in the chest with a shotgun.
