Another Cop is Arraigned for Sexual Assault

News Five has been able to confirm that a Police driver from Roaring Creek, Adison Gillett, has been charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a fifteen year minor.  He was taken to Belmopan Magistrate’s Court for formal arraignment on Wednesday and has been remanded until September thirtieth. And while details are sketchy, we have also confirmed that Police are investigating a very senior Police Officer, allegedly an Assistant Commissioner of Police, for sexual assault of the same minor. It is expected that very soon, pending the conclusion of an investigation, charges will be laid. This would be the second senior Police Officer being investigated for sexual assault of a minor within a matter of two weeks, the other being head of the GSU Mark Flowers.
