P.G. man latest Courts winner
He was among a group of four lucky Courts customers selected to compete in the monthly Gold Rush Show on Saturday. And while the other three semi-finalists walked away with household appliances, Glenford Archer of Punta Gorda got the chance to spin for five thousand dollars. And when the Gold Rush wheel stopped turning, the marker came to rest on the two thousand dollars slot. Not bad, particularly because Courts pays all income taxes on the winnings. After he collected his cheque, Archer said while he was the one doing the spinning, his children will do the spending.
