Guatemalan on the Run for Wife’s Murder Got Belize Passport to Enter Mexico
In the Special Audit, it is reordered that a number of persons who illegally obtained the Belizean birthright were anywhere from human traffickers to terrorist suspects. Among the undesirables is Guatemalan national and fugitive, Roberto Barreda de Leon, who was captured in 2012 in Merida, Yucatan bearing a Belize passport. He was on the run for the murder of his wife, Cristina Siekavizza, in July of 2011 in Guatemala. The passport was among other fraudulent documents which he used to enter Mexico. In it, his name appeared as Roberto Carlos Barreira Villareal, which is the name in his other documents. Reports are that he obtained documents since he came here to receive money from his family.
