These six students from St. John Anglican Primary School invite you to their annual pageant to support them in their literacy campaign and general fundraising.

Teacher Melanie Cadle, Pageant coordinator

“Usually we try and pay some bills. Also, we are trying to allot some funds for next year?s pageant, because it can be expensive also and any other little thing; maybe the library would need maintenance or something like that, but it all goes to the school and for class improvement or any other thing related to school.”

The pageant takes place under the theme Fairyland Fantasy.

“Mainly, we are trying to focus on reading to encourage the children also to read fairy tale books and books in general. But we chose fairy tale fantasy because as we have been growing up we are familiar with popular fairy tale characters.”

Last year the school raised fifteen hundred dollars. If you would like to support the young students you can purchase your tickets in advance at the school or at the door for only three dollars children and five dollars for adults. Jacqueline Woods reporting for News 5.

The pageant takes place at the Holy Redeemer Parish hall at six on Thursday evening.
