3 detained for Ladyville gas station robbery
In related crime news, police have detained three men in connection with a gas station hold-up on Monday night. Reports are that just after eight-thirty that night, a tinted, four-door maroon van pulled into the Ladyville Shell gas station at the airport junction on the Northern Highway. But instead of gas, the occupants were after cash. The sliding door opened to reveal three masked and armed men who jumped out and robbed the employees of approximately six hundred dollars. The van then took off, heading north. We don’t know if they ran out of gas, or stopped to get gas at another station, but police have caught up with three of the men they suspect were the robbers and are looking for a fourth. If you have any information that might assist the authorities in their investigation, please contact the nearest police station or call 922.
