“We were doing things with the fisherman?s cooperative and also with manatees. We were researching and watching manatees, we were doing things together about that. Also, we did a status about land cover in Belize with information about geographic systems.”
“We have the unit in Chetumal; we have other units in Chiapas, in Campeche, in Tabasco. But the unit in Chetumal has a lot of things to do with the resources that we share between our countries, so it?s so important for us to work together in research.”
The signing was witnessed by M.B.R.S. Regional Director, Noel Jacobs; M.B.R.S. Environmental Specialist, Alejandro Arrivillaga; ECOSUR Director General Jose Fernandez; and ECOSUR Coordinator, Dr. Jose Vela.
