17-year-old shot on C.A. Boulevard
A Belize City youth was wounded after he and two friends were fired on while walking on Central American Boulevard early Saturday morning. Seventeen year old Jermaine Grant of Baracat Street was hit twice in the back, once in the buttocks, and once in the left knee when a man the trio recognized rode up to them on a bike and fired several shots from a handgun. Grant was taken to the K.H.M.H. and admitted in critical condition. Police are seeking a suspect.
