Fatal stabbing in August Pine Ridge
Police are seeking a suspect in a fatal stabbing during a fight at a fair in August Pine Ridge on Saturday night. During the incident which involved a number of patrons, seventeen year old Trinidad Sanchez was stabbed in the chest and later died from the wound. Another man, twenty-four year old Rene Murillo, was stabbed in the back, but refused treatment at the Northern Regional Hospital. Murillo is being sought by police for questioning along with several other people who may have been involved.
