Mental patient dies during attacking on his mother
Police are investigating the death of a man who is alleged to have attacked his mother with a hammer. According to reports, on Friday, twenty-eight year old Fred Petillo, who is described as a mental patient, went after his mother, Judith Petillo, with a hammer and began hitting her. When Judith’s husband, Ortin Coleman, tried to intervene, Petillo tried to bite off his thumb. The two struggled and Petillo fell to the ground motionless. He was taken to the K.H.M.H., but pronounced dead on arrival. Petillo’s body is scheduled for a post mortem to determine the exact cause of death.
